Greetings once again, my little Red, White and Blue Spider-Bites! Tis I, your American Horror/Cult Hostess Back again this '4TH OF JULY' Holiday Weekend, DITA DIRT NAP!

Now usually DITA just lazily throws up her Cult-Classic Review of; 'UNCLE SAM; I WANT YOU DEAD', and calls it a day. But this year instead of 'Fireworks', DITA has decided to focus on my Favorite 'BLONDE-BOMBSHELL'' Fire-Cracker' and CULT-Flick Queen; 'MAMIE VAN DOREN! Specifically her Best CULT-Flicks w/DIRECTOR ALBERT ZUGSMITH!

B-A-C-K to MAMIE!

Now you see Director ZUGSMITH was responsible for putting Mamie in some of her Best Films that are Still popular today and always managed to show off her incredible Figure. In fact these films are even More popular today and some DITA would even go so far as to say were 'ahead of their time', w/subjects that were controversial Like abortion, rape, women's lib and more.

So DITA will be taking a look at some of these ALBERT ZUGSMITH-Directed 'MAMIE-Flicks' the entire sizzling month, just like Mamie, of JULY!

In fact MAMIE now 95 is 'still' beautiful to this day and is having some what of a 'come-back' w/not only these Films but an 'ALL-NEW' Book called; 'YOU THOUGHT I WAS DEAD', (which, btw you can get it on Amazon by Clicking on the 'Book)

First Up we have a kind of 'who-dun-it Cult Flick about 'Beat-Niks' called, what else? 'THE BEAT GENERATION!'

BTW; DITA must say that Director ALBERT ZUGSMITH knew how to dress her for his Films and would even go so far as to say that she looked her 'primo-sexxxy' best in his films as well as never had her be without her infamous 'bullet-bra's', Hon!

Also btw; DITA's 'vamp-hubby'; B.J. Actually stayed awake for this Culty Flick and watched it along w/me , which he is 'not' known to do and at the end said it was really good but he noticed a lack of blood overall. Of course he said that cuz he's a Vampire, my little 'Blood-Bags!'

Well Kids, this film starts out with a Beatnik weirdo guy ringing a ladies door bell, to tell her he knows her husband and just dropped by to pay him back 10 measly dollars. Hmmmmmm!

He charms his way in, then fakes a headache, hence they call him the 'ASPIRIN KID'. After faking a headache and asking for water to take his aspirins, he lies in wait, but now w/leather gloves on and as soon as his victim comes back, he grabs her, violently pushes towards the bedroom, as the camera pans over to her coffee table w/aspirin lying there as you hear him beating and raping her.

You see, this is something the weirdo beatnik does to all his victims and always plays out the same routine/m.o. , if you will but they 'all' are married women. Well, this is where we meet the 'Detective/Cop' already obsessed w/the case as the Culprit-Beatnik hates women and thinks their 'all' whores. Next we see his wife telling him he might hate women as well. Hmmmm?

As sure as my name is DITA DIRT NAP, the Beatnik Culprit, woman-hating weirdo goes on to his next victim , who ,dun, dun, dun, is that Cops wife. The nasty super 'sigh-koe' pulls the same routine, then later in the night has the unmitigated gall to call the 'cop/gum-shoe' guys home, teases him about hurting and raping his wife and quickly hangs up.

Let me stop here for a hot sec to explain that where the beatnik 'sigh-koe' path hangs out is a coffee bar for beatniks to dance, drink, recite poetry, act weird by putting on records of car-crashes, sirens, people screaming and crying all while starring straight ahead while looking high on '420'. Beatniks were a real thing back in the 60's my little spider-bites! BTW; Horror Host VAMPIRA, billed as just that appears briefly in this weird but wonderful flick as a 'BEATNIK POET-ESS', reciting what else POETRY all while holding her 'pet-rat' on her shoulder. Her recitation of the poem is good, kinda creepy and ads to the feel of the film. See 'VAMPIRA's Scene here> https://youtu.be/63_BMNxTcessi=O0BUnMFIEANttO9a&t=91  Also JACKIE COOGAN ('The Addams Family TV Series, etc.) is great as the Gum-Shoe Cop's co-worker and actually plays it straight here w/no comedy-chaser. Now back to the 'Gum-shoe's Wifey.

She later finds out that she's pregnant w/the 'SIGH-KOE' Beatniks Baby conceived out of rape. She tells him first that she doesn't want to have it and wants an abortion, then later decides to keep it, but knows her Husband won't love it if its the Beatnik Nuts child. She even goes so far as to move-out w/his co-worker/partner (COOGAN) and his wife to wait out her pregnancy.

Now when MAMIE VAN DOREN's character; 'GEORGIA' enters the picture/movie she plays the Blonde Bombshell of course to the Hilt w/tight clothes, heaving bosom at one point, sexy walk as she and her husband played by at the time, her real-life hubby, bandleader RAY ANTHONY, who in this flick are either divorced or separated and she is longing for sexual-attention. She/Mamie answers the door one night to the 'same-routine' crazed-beatnik rapist. BUT W-A-I-T! It's 'not' him! It's his hoodlum beatnik friend from the 'far-out' coffee shop, instead, sent by his beatnik nut friend to throw off cops, playing the same old 'seven & six' routine on Mamie, uh, I mean Georgia.

He gets as far as the 'putting-on-gloves' part but is luckily interrupted by Georgia/Mamie's ex-husband? The fiend I mean friend stops the routine and lies his way out of the apartment and even leaves the fictious 10 dollars on a coffee table and quickly leaves. We find out later by angry gum-shoe/Cop guy that he realizes that Georgia/Mamie must of pursued the Beatnik Nuts friend/hooking-up w/Georgia, uh, cuz she's lonely and still very horny, Hon! Later in this suspenseful but culty movie while he has Mamie/Georgia tied up w/the cop, plants a big kiss on her to let her know his love for her was real and then helps her and the gum-shoe cop guy escape.

 Mamie/Georgia then agrees to help angry cop/gum-shoe guy by setting-up Beatnik'/Rapist's friend play by the way with a very young Robert Mitchum ,billed here as Joey Mitchum, and ends up going to the two beatnik Buddies Beach Hide-Away only to get tied up both her and cop guy w/women-issues. Calamity ensues, lots of bad music to DITA's ears is played at this point all ending w/the crazy beatnik guy trying to escape the beach-front property by 'trying' to snorkel away. Notice DITA said; 'trying'.

Then an underwater chase-scene happens somewhat reminiscent of; 'creature from black lagoon' a little w/Mamie/Georgia seeing it all go down, comes outside and does a good horror-movie scream beach-side, mind you and then the cop/gum-shoe guy and Beatnik baddie come to the surface and back up on the beach. It is there that the Beatnik Rapist admits ,since he's now defeated, that he hates 'all' women and thinks their 'all' whores. Upon hearing that, the Cop/Gum-shoe guy realizes is almost the same, goes back to his wife who has already had the baby and learns what real love is. 'END SCENE!'

DITA & 'Vamp'-Hubby; 'B.J. Really enjoyed sitting down together watching this flick together and I give it a perfect score of 3 Skulls Out of a 3 Skulls Score! DITA really wants to turn you all onto these Fun, entertaining in a Weird good way from the Pairing of 'Director ALBERT ZUGSMITH & BOMBSHELL MAMIE VAN DOREN this Sizzling Month of JULY!
