I met Grace Lee Whitney a few times over the years, and she is best know for her character in the original Star Trek series as Captain Kirks personal Yeoman Janice Rand. She attends many conventions and enjoys meeting fans. She wrote a book about her life and career called The Longest Trek, My Tour of the Galaxy back in 1998. I have a copy she signed to me after our interview. The funny thing for me was right before I interviewed her, she felt she had to rearrange our chairs because the way I was seated, she felt I was upstaging her she said. I laughed and told her to put me where she wanted me and we can then begin the interview. Looking back, I should have asked her to sit on my lap, but I don't wish to piss off the Captain of the Enterprise 1701, ha ha . Enjoy.
