Yes, the devil has made a powerful impression of the movie industry....and I'm not just talking about the folks that run the industry.

As an example I bring you Robert Alda and Neil Hamilton in a movie about voodoo dolls and devil worship.  It's called "The Devil's Hand" and I'm also going to explore other influences of the devil...this week in The Lab!

Don't forget you can watch my hosted movies and interviews on your TV using the Vimeo and Blip.TV apps. When using either app, search for either the movie title or Count Gore De Vol, then pick your video!

I have a full explanation of what Internet TV is and how you can access it for FREE or at least inexpensively in The Crypt! It has links to the products as well and reviews. It's worth checking out.

One of the original rooms in my castle was The Dead Letter Office! This is where I would post the email that people sent me so that you could read it. Some times it was good, other times it was bad and many times it was funny.  Well, Facebook seems to have killed email. I get very little these days and I just may shutter the room but in the mean time, I an invitation to the annual "SCARE THAT CARE" Dinner/Dance and more!

Way back when, in the days of black and white TV, I was entranced by a creative genius who called himself, Ernie Kovacs. He was the first person I ever saw, who used and manipulated TV rather than just letting it record an event.  I just came across one of his many characters on YouTube. It's Auntie Gruesome telling the story of Cinderella. I hope you enjoy it. You'll find min on The Gallows!

Are you looking for an incredible interview? I invite you to Balladeer's Blog! It was just posted and includes an exclusive interview with Randy Clower of the Texas 27 Film Vault, a criminally neglected show from the 1980's. Randy was kind enough to discuss the show in great detail including sketches, Ken Miller's suicide and more. Anything to keep Horror Host lore alive - http://glitternight.com/2011/12/22/randy-clower-balladeers-blog-interviews-a-movie-host-legend/

Over the years, I've been asked many times, what was the date of your first show on WDCA and what was the movie?  To be honest, I don't remember either. I was too busy making TV shows.  However, my good friend and film maker Sean Kotz, went to the trouble of looking it up. It was Saturday night, Feb. 3, 1973 at 11pm. The movie was, "The House of Frankenstein!"

But that wasn't good enough for Sean. He went ahead and listed all the dates and movies through Sept. 1, 1979! So, please stroll over to The Archive, where you'll see them all proudly posted.

“Around the time of Halloween, we always see more and more horror movies and DVD’s being released. Following the Halloween horror theme, vampire costumes have been becoming increasingly more popular due to these releases the past several years.”
