Thanks for the prompt delivery of Creature Feature: The Legacy Continues. The video was well done and very, very funny. I love the music videos, and the "Attack ON the Mushroom People," was great. As was the dueling "Gozillas." And that woman you had on that did the professional skating/roller derby stuff had a wild, "Helter-skelter" look in her eyes...don't know that I would have let her near me! How long did the bruises last? Great video! I'm very much looking forward to The Legacy Drags on. Thanks again for another great piece of nostalgia, Robert Hawes
Dear Count G.,
I just received my copy of "Creature Feature-The Legacy Begins" and I wanted to say thanks. Man, did it bring back memories! It's been a good 15 years since I last watched Creature Feature - Classic but it was still great, although I appreciate some of the clips differently now at 26 than I did at 9 (Penthouse Pets!!). Rest assured I will be ordering volumes 2 and 3 very soon. You are the best!
Very truly yours, Lance Beasley
Gore - I just finished watching CREATURE FEATURE THE LEGACY CONTINUES - the perfect holiday experience! Watch out Jimmy Stewart! So many great moments crammed into the one-hour: from the Hugh Marlow tribute to the historic "Stereo" broadcasting to Frankenstein Meets Count Gore De Vol to the terrific Uncle Forrey interviews. What's so great about it (for me) was I wasn't in the DC area when you made your big return, so I missed all of this the first time around. It's so rare to ever get a second chance, and here 15 years later I got one! Thank you so much - I can't wait for volume three!!!!! Happy Holidays! Curtis Prather
Dear Count, I just wanted to tell you that i received the tape Creature Feature The Legacy continues today and ive watched it 5 times already and it is Fantastic, if not even better than your first tape. I really liked Count Gore meets Frankenstein and The attack on the Mushroom People. The interview with Mr. Monster (Forrest J. Ackerman) was great. I can only say that these keep getting better and if the third tape (The Legacy Drags On) is as good as the first two WOW! Thank you for bringing these tapes to fans like me who remember the good ole days ,and i believe the best is yet to come! Miles (still locked up in your tower) Funkhouser
Gore, I received your new video today, and I must say you've outdone yourself-I was howling with laughter through the whole thing!! My favorite segments were with Stephanie the roller derby queen, the "There Was A Fungus Among Us" music video, and of course your distaste of the turkey Godzila movie! I look forward to the next one-it should be as rockin'!! Keep 'em coming!! Steve Wann
Dear Count, I got the video today and I loved it-I laughed throughout the whole thing!! I can't wait for the 80s sequel!! Steve Wann
Count!! Just wanted to let you know that I saw the tape the same night I bought it from you!! It was outasite!! Very, very funny!!! I loved the bit with the Penthouse Pet!! Don & Lola got a kick out of it too!! Had fun at the con and I enjoyed being on the same panels with you, too bad you missed the last one!!!!!!!! Anyway, let me know when you can host my new anthology!! I would ready be honored to have you host my film!! Again, I really enjoyed the tape & look forward to Vol.2!!!!! Stay Groovy!! Rock
Count, Your video arrived last Saturday. Overall I'm very pleased with it. I used to watch Creature Feature every week back in the mid-80's and its fun to see what the early shows were like, particularly the M.T. Graves bit. The video quality is excellent and I'd recommend it to any previous fans - a lot of fun! I'm looking forward to getting your follow-up tape of the later shows. Mike
Count, I just received your tape today. I have only seen the first five minutes and I already love it! That M.T. Graves segment is priceless. Nothing to be embarrassed about. The opening animation was great. - Eerie Evan
Hi, Count. I watched the Count Gore tape over the weekend (twice), and loved it! My youngest son watched it with me, too, and he really seemed to enjoy it. The video is well done, and it really brought back a lot of great memories of Saturday nights gone by. Despite all the cable channels available now, TV just isn't what it used to be. I'll be looking forward to the next tape, as well. Anyway, I'm glad you put this together. I think it'll be a big hit! All the best, Paul
Want to urge all of you who enjoy Horror Hosts to pick up a copy of Count Gore's video, "The Legacy Begins" It chronicles the early years of Count Gore's career, even showing a clip of the Count as M.T. Graves from the stint he did in Paducah, KY. The bits on this tape are funny, and even my wife, who doesn't really like horror hosts that much, watched and enjoyed the whole thing, laughing at all the right places. It has it all - sex, blood and rock and roll!! all brought to you by our gracious host, Count Gore DeVol, proving why he's been in business for almost 30 years!! Fun tape - check it out! Dr Gangrene
Hi Gore, Creature Feature: The Legacy Drags On came today and I must say, if it is to be your last tape, it's certainly a beautiful finish!! All the clips were great, you chose well!! The music videos, commercials, "Monster Bash" clips, Prehistoric Vampire, Gore-The Hunter Of The Present [those fruits were hilarious!!], and even the lovely Penthouse Pet were all fantastic, and the re-mastering job was very well done, it looked and sounded GREAT!!
